For me, it’s just common sense to separate my personal from my business life so it’s a no-brainer that I wouldn’t say anything that might cause me trouble at my work. Even though courts have already ruled that companies should not restrict their employees from talking about work on social media, it still is not worth risking it.
There are plenty of legal ways short of firing you to make your work life a living hell, however, for the following tweeps, they deserved to be fired, period.
Fake Over-time and Brag About It
It’s stupid enough to fake over-time, it’s a completely different level of stupid when you implicate yourself:
